We were as different 

As people can be.

And yet we bonded

As soon as we met.

Intimacy,

Sexual and emotional, 

Came naturally.

Can’t explain it;

Can only keep building on it.

Now as we get

older and I get weaker, 

our love looks different.

But it is as strong 

And loving as ever.
