out of modesty.
Friends have reached out
To say how much they like poems,
what they say about me
and the world.
Are they too personal?
Does that undermine their credibility?
Not for me.
My friends,
The poems and I
live in the same world
along with
millions of others;
Friends or otherwise.

I love that title, Harry. It’s positive and fluid. For example, it can refer to friends past, present, and future.
