I have everything

I want in my life,

At least almost.

A home in a

beautiful part of upstate NY

with dear old friends

and my wife Cathy,

the love of my life.

And, I have been

battling cancer for the past 5 months.

Nausea, vomiting,

Difficulty walking.

I have pushed hard to be 

productive,

to create,

to reach out and

embrace my friends,

old and new,’

There are flashes of anger,

often hurtful to those I love most.

It’s no surprise I’m angry.

It’s not acceptable to let it 

ruin what I have left.

It’s a matter of discipline,

for sure.

And an exercise in love.
