Jan Wootten

Your thoughts of spring brighten my day too

A time to sprout, a time to renew,

That fish has been growing, waiting for your return

Waiting to nibble that silicon worm.

I think growth and decay is all what we got

April buds and Darkness — brilliance and rot

It’s where we surf on this brief, brilliant ride,

As our intertwined histories skid and collide.

Even as you and I have fought hard ore’ the years

I’m here to say, Harry, lay down your fears

Fish-on as the minnows nibble that worm

There are more chapters to write, more pages to turn!
