Just a hint still.

Snow is melting.

Patches of ground,

if not grass,

appear in our yard.

Spring brings renewal.

Does that include me?

Is cancer oblivious

to the season?

Is there a connection

between my spirits and my health?

So, I’ll visit the river

and watch and hear

it rumble by.

I’ll see the sun sparkling 

on the water;

Maybe a trout jumping.

That will lift my spirits

And my resolve to

create and connect,

Cancer notwithstanding.
